We know that ReShip is a great package forwarding service which provides people from all over the world with a US address they can use to shop online. You probably have a handful of American sites you frequent for your shopping needs. But you might wonder what other people use it for. What sites are they buying from? Are the sites you like just as popular with other ReShip users?
Today, we are here to answer those questions, as we dive deep into our data to show you the top 10 retailers among ReShip’s membership. We are going to take you through the 10 sites from which we receive the most orders over the last year. We’ll start with number 10 and work our way down until we crown the ultimate champion.
Number 10 on the list is Gap.com, the ever-popular American fashion retailer. For decades The Gap has been a household name in stylish affordable clothing for all ages. Founded in 1969, The Gap has grown to not only operate its namesake retail stores but also Banana Republic and Old Navy as well.
The number 9 spot belongs to the retail site of one of the US’s most famous designers, Ralph Lauren. This is a designer so popular, you can probably picture their iconic polo shirts emblazoned with the horse riding polo player in your mind right now. If clothing isn’t what you’re looking for, you can also find some equally stylish home décor items and gifts here as well.
Rounding off the clothing shops on our list, is a little retailer you may have heard of called Nordstrom. This one has a taste for the higher end and has a great selection of men’s and women’s shoes, clothing accessories and beauty products.
QVC is known for its TV presence, but it has transitioned into the world of online retailing quite nicely. You can find almost anything there, with not just clothes, and home items on offer but health and food items as well. It is here where you are bound to find many exclusive items you will only find selling through QVC.
This one was a surprise. One of the most popular online shops used by ReShip members is a site which exclusively sells Soylent, a beverage (classified as a food) designed to provide balanced nutrition sufficient to healthfully replace a meal. A month’s supply now costs $29 and we have heard it tastes quite good. And no, it isn’t people.
This one really needs no introduction. You know what you’re in for when you go to Walmart.com: huge selection and low prices. This is where you go when you have a lot of things to buy and you want to save some money.
This is ReShip customers’ favourite shoe store and for good reason. Their selection is absolutely massive. What’s more, they also carry a respectable selection of clothing and accessories. Throw in frequent discounts and free shipping on orders over $50, and its no surprise that this one is a winner.
Again, no introduction required. We’re all familiar with iPhones iPads and Mac Books. What is interesting is that this is the only pure electronics retailer in the top ten. Apple’s habit of timing some of their products to be available to the US first may be an explanation for this.
It doesn’t come as a shock that eBay made the top 5. This is a place that hardcore online shoppers know well. The classic internet auction site offers an endless sea of items that are not commonly found anywhere else. And many of these items only ship within the United States. Reship is happy to be able to provide the world with access to eBay’s many US based vendors.
In a result that should come as a surprise to no one, Amazon.com takes the top spot for most packages sent to the ReShip warehouse in the last year. Since starting as a book seller over 10 years ago, Amazon has dominated the world of online retailing and shows no signs of slowing down. They have managed to do this by keeping prices low, optimizing the buying process for maximum ease and convenience, and offering an incredible selection of products you are unlikely to find elsewhere. Congratulations, Amazon. You earned it.
